Presentan en México nuevo disco de Paul McCartney
Universal Music presentó hoy el nuevo disco de Paul McCartney Memory almost full . La disquería confía que pronto alcanzará el disco de oro, ya que pasaron cuatro días desde su lanzamiento en México, su venta actual oscila entre las 25 mil copias."Hay una mezcla de 5 canciones hacia el final que fue una retrospectiva a propósito (That was me, Feet in the clouds, House of wax, The end of the end y Nod your head).
"Pensé que esto sería posible porque estoy en este punto de mi vida pero luego pienso acerca de los tiempos en que estaba componiendo con John y mucho de eso fue también como mirar atrás."
"Es como yo con 'Penny Lane' y 'Eleanor Rigby'. ¡Todavía estoy con los mismos trucos", explica en la carta.
La disquera informó que actualmente está a la venta también otra versión del disco cuya presentación es similar a una caja de DVD, por su tamaño, el cual incluye tres temas adicionales: Why so blue?, 222 e In private.
También presentaron el video del primer sencillo Dance tonight, dirigido por el director Michel Gondry (Eterno resplandor de una mente sin recuerdos, La ciencia del sueño - con Gael García-) y protagonizado por Natalie Portman y Mackenzie Crook (Los piratas del Caribe).
Por el momento, los únicos lugares en los que McCartney presentará su disco en concierto son Londres (hoy), Nueva York y Los Ángeles, los días 13 y 15 de junio, respectivamente.

¿Qué opinan de How Do You Sleep de Lennon?
Me gustaría saber qué opinan sobre How Do you Sleep, tema de la carrera solista de Lennon, que dedica de manera no precisamente simpática a Paul McCartney, diciendo que lo único que él hizo fue "Yesterday", entre otros mensajes llenos de odio... ¿Un momento de calentura de John? ¿Realmente sentía ese desprecio por Paul? Opinen!
